La Tomatina is a food fight festival held on a the last Wednesday of August each year in the town of Buñol in the Valencia region in Spain. Tens of thousands of participants come from all over the world to fight in a harmless battle where more than one hundred metric tons of over-ripe tomatoes are thrown in the streets.

Sneakers designed to crush tomatoes
Adidas has launched a new sneakers serie with drawings of Tomatoes, to celebrate this weird festival. This is a expensive limited edition and it was announced in the spanish TV news in last days. Some people of Buñol, the town of the Tomatina, are not very happy because problems of the ownership of the name “Tomatina”. Imagine how much tomatoes they crush in this day.
